I wanted to draw them again.
There were plenty of characteristics and features that I wanted to draw stronger on this second pass in contrast to the first.
Never in the whole precursor to drawing them (Which was just thinking ‘I really wanna draw them’ ) never did I NOT assume I would have the easiest time with Link.
I was like
"Link. Pfft. Gonna be a piece of cake. Look at him his head/hair is shaped like my cat’s. I’ve drawn my cat. Link has glasses. I have glasses I’m used to glasses. PFFT."
"Rhett though. Whoa, he’s bearded, automatically a challenge!"
But no that’s not how it’s been at all! Rhett’s been way easier somehow.
Actually I credit my Lovey’s drawing of Rhett-pony for me. She could give two flips about Rhett and Link and she drew them before I did because I’m a chicken and because she loves me. Now, not that her Link-pony wasn’t awesome. But she blew the Rhett pony out of the park and I had to draw that guy immediately.
And I did. With Lovey in Open Canvas. She provided the Links in that session.
So yeah. Here we are. I carried over some of the things I liked from the last drawing into this one and reinforced some features I really wanted to try out.
I think I have something stronger now.
PS: If anyone can tell me how to post pictures at a decent size on here that would be appreciated. This it much too blurry and small.
